"THE ROCK" PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Rock - the wall-climbing and wilderness adventure ministry of YFC - is looking for a Program Coordinator. Located inside the YFC Activity Centre at the corner of Main St. and Higgins Ave., the Rock is a world-class climbing wall, and the tallest in Manitoba. It is a place where teens are connected with caring volunteers, provided with a place to challenge themselves, reach new climbing goals, and given opportunities to make positive choices in their lives. Most importantly, it is a place where young people are introduced to the life-changing person, work, and teaching of Jesus Christ. The Program Coordinator of The Rock is responsible for the effective implementation of programs in the ministry. As the Program Coordinator, you will oversee engaging climbing programs, assist supervise dedicated and energetic volunteers, create amazing bonds with young people, and connect the community with The Rock in ways that ensure success for the future.
SKATEBOARD MINISTRY PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Use your love of skateboarding to introduce young people to faith in Christ, helping them develop their skills and passion for skateboarding in a world-class facility known as The Edge. This growing ministry is always looking for new staff to help meet the needs of the young people who participate. You will work with a talented staff team as well as amazing volunteers to reach into the culture and skate scene in Winnipeg, and change lives.
JOB STUDIO: PROGRAM STAFF
The Job Studio, a program of Work Force, is looking for a part time or full time staff to work with youth ages 16 to 20. In this ministry you have the possibility to influence the future and the hopes of North End youth who often don't dare to dream much. Through teaching, skill development and mentoring we try to help them know and develop their potential. We are looking for someone to develop a new area of this ministry. Access to a vehicle is a must, experience with undervalued youth preferred.
COMMUNITY YOUTH WORKER
Youth for Christ Winning, in conjunction with Kildonan Community Church, is looking for a Community Youth Worker. As a Community Youth Worker, you will create and implement the amazing programs and engaging activities, with a focus on outreach and discipleship. Working with a dedicated team of volunteers, and with the support of the KCC membership, you will give young people in the community opportunities to do something new, discover who they are, and encounter Jesus Christ. You will also host special events, both for junior and senior high school students.
This person will work with ministry staff and the Director of Volunteer Services to maintain a current record of volunteer opportunities, complete with current duties and responsibilities, and coordinate an ongoing recruitment strategy. They will facilitate the matching of potential volunteers with an appropriate ministry and maintain a volunteer database. They will arrange and conduct ongoing orientation and training programs for volunteers and be a resource to staff on working with volunteers. They will also work with each ministry to ensure that excellent care, on-the-job coaching and adequate supervision is provided for each volunteer. SOCCER LEAGUE COORDINATOR
Be a vital part of one of YFC Winnipeg’s fastest-growing ministries, using your passion for soccer to reach young people with the Gospel. You will take a leadership role in one of the two soccer leagues operating through this ministry, helping young people not only develop their skills and love of the sport, but in many cases helping them acclimate as newcomers to Canada.
TURNING POINT: DIRECTOR
The Director of Turning Point is responsible for overseeing all Counselling staff and programs, ensuring the highest possible quality of service and care. As the Director, you will maintain a client-load, and also provide training and support to Youth for Christ staff and volunteers as needed, helping equip them to make a greater impact on the youth in their programs. Furthermore, you will also connect Turning Point with the larger Christian community in Winnipeg - counsellors and churches - to make sure they are aware of YFC’s services and opportunities. We are looking for someone who is organized with strong administrative skills, and with experience in leading others and collaboratively setting and achieving goals. You will have at least a Master’s degree in counselling, and five years of counselling experience. You will be enthusiastic about using your skills, gifts, and education to make a difference in the lives of young people at YFC, and will demonstrate a passion to share the Gospel with others.

Cedarwood is a beautiful modern lodge that serves more than 9000 people year-round. It is a ministry of Youth For Christ Winnipeg. We are located 115 KM NE of Winnipeg, near Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba’s outdoor playground. During the summer months, we run week-long camps for teenagers. The rest of the year we host schools, churches and other groups. Housing and most food is provided.

Camp Cedarwood is looking for maintenance staff to assist in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and property. Cedarwood is a first-class, resort-like facility set on the western edge of the Canadian shield, Manitoba’s outdoor playground. The facilities, the activities, the food, the accommodations,... all combine to make Cedarwood a high demand facility. Camp Cedarwood is a division of Youth For Christ Winnipeg, which specializes in meeting the needs of teenagers. Cedarwood is located 115 km NE of Winnipeg near Lac du Bonnet, MB on Pinawa Bay.
